Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She earned an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in the fields of theater, film as well as television. She started her career as an actress in theatre and then went on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. On BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she was a character. In addition, she be praised by critics for her role but also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance in The Tempest as Ariel. On Broadway she's appeared as a character in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. When it comes to film, she is best known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her role as a character in ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
